Hello! I am wondering if Interco COGS can be automatically eliminated similar to Interco Revenue. According to NS documentation, it says not to mark Interco COGs account as an elimination account for fear of double counting - but our Interco COGS is not being eliminated using the close checklist because of this. For context, this is especially relevant to Interco PO & SOs. Appreciate any insight! Thank you

We are doing it manually because NS cannot handle intercompany inventory that is not yet sold to third parties which affects the intercompany COGS as well.

There's an enhancement request out there for this, though considering it took them weeks to understand the problem, I don't have much faith it will get implemented.

Yeah I believe so too. It would be so much work to determine which intercompany inventory was sold or not. But how do you handle it manually? The inventory must be tagged somehow that it is from an intercompany transaction. Do you use bins, inventory status, locations, custom field, lot number, etc.? Or do you just eliminate the entire intercompany COGS even if you have not yet sold everything to third parties?

Yes, we're using locations and lot numbers as indicators. Auditors are suggesting we handle with manual JE
