Hi Team, I have a use case and I need someone to please put me through. Is it possible to recognize revenue based on a fixed amount. For instance If a customer signs a contract for 120.000. 10,000 is billed monthly, can I set up the system to recognize 9,000 monthly and then the whole amount left at the end of the contract? The only option available seems to be the custom revenue recognition rules which is based on fixed percentages but there is also no way to import the rule for longer contract terms

Could you recognize on item fulfillment? That would be one way I could think of to recognize a fixed amount each month.

depending on how often these occur you can just manually edit the revenue plan once it's created to rev rec according to the schedule you'd like

If you create a $0 line item on the Sales order you can assign it a fair value and allocate revenue to that line to be recognized according to a schedule based on that line. Or if needed you can create a new transaction and merge the arrangement.
