For tax setup, would it matter if I create an item as non-inventory vs. service item? In the tax code record, there are Applies to Service Items, Applies to Direct Cost Service Items and Applies to Digital Items fields. Not sure if they have an impact on item type decision making. This is for our European subsidiaries by the way.

Non-inventory is typically the default when you dont’ want to impact inventory. Service item is typically used for projects.
