We are new to using OneWorld. Not sure if I’m just misunderstanding how subsidiary hierarchy should work. We have a parent subsidiary, then three children. Let’s call the parent “A” and the children “B1", “B2”, and “B3". If I grant a role to an employee and set the subsidiary on that role to “B1”, they should only see data at “B1". That’s working fine. However, what if I want the user to see everything under “A”? It feels like I should be able to setup the role to have the subsidiary “A” but that only gives them data explicitly at “A”, not at “B1", “B2”, and “B3". Obviously I can choose the
SELECTED
option for the
ACCESSIBLE SUBSIDIARIES
when setting up the role, and put in “A”, “B1", “B2”, and “B3" but that seems clunky. Isn’t there a way to leverage the fact that “B1”, “B2", and “B3” are children of “A” and give access to data in levels below the granted subsidiary?

Can you use the 'Allow Cross Subsidiray Record View' or do they also need to transact in those subs?
j
they also need to transact

Boo - then I think the only option is Selected Subs.
Had to do this before with an Accounting 1 role for US/ EMEA / APAC was the same role just Subsidiary restricted by Selected (Accounitn1 US, Accounting 1 EMEA etc)

Disappointing
thanks though!
