hi everyone - there's a "quick estimator" for shipping in our checkout page.. it's always wrong .. so i'm trying to get rid of it.. any ideas where this might be in the backend??

Under Website Setup there is an option: “Enable shipping estimator on cart” uncheck it

At the shopping subtab you can also play around with the settings for the estimator:

<@U3B7BT2JX> - is it in commerce &gt; website &gt; configuration? I don't see it there...

then click edit on the the website you want to make changes

aha! found it. thank you!! but... all i see is the estimator preference, i don't see it as an enable / disable function ...

Should be on the Setup subtab, at the right hand side under preferences

while i have you for a moment - do you know how to access other shopping cart pages (like the account page of a customer, for example) so that I can change the page to include other things?

You will probably need to create an extension to add data/change logic on those page

ahhh darn. i had a feeling it wasn't possible without something funky.

haha, in most cases adding data is trivial task once you get used to extension development.

well it's not even data that we'd want to use, so much as i'd like to add something like an image to the account page that our customers use to check their shipping status?
