We don't officially know what NetSuite will do at that point, or when that will be, but we do know it's coming. It seems that their path right now is to simply ignore 1.0 when releasing new features/tools (e.g. Map/Reduce scripts are 2.0 only). NetSuite is advising us that we view all 1.0 scripts as "technical debt", and so writing anything new in 1.0 is just adding to your debt
