Hi everyone, I need a bit of advice regarding an SCA domain configuration. The domain configuration record is done as per NS guides however when I asked a domain provider to configure a DNS for me then: - they say that this technology is not supported (fasthost) - they asking about IP or A record - what is not supported by NS (GoDaddy) What domain provider is a good option? Is it possible to configure a fictional domain on my machine and then access an SCA website?

This is a little confusing. Standard practice for SCA domains is just to use a CNAME. It’s very easy and straightforward
Are you trying some sort of complex configuration? We don’t support/recommend some things like third-party CDNs and reverse proxies.

Hi Steve, I do not have this experience to confirm complexity but from a UI perspective looks simple. I bought a domain and then use it to create a record in NS. The domain record generated a cname for me that I shared with the above domain providers and asked to configure DNS. This is a stage where I encountered problems. I ended up with the above responses. I contacted NS support regarding queries but they say that static DNS configuration is no longer supported(IP and A record).

Well the first CNAME record in your DNS config wrong. You can’t add a CNAME for “hosting.netsuite.com” so delete that
The second one looks OK
After that, make sure you select automatic certificates

Thanks, I will do changes as per your advice.

I’m facing similar issue. I have created a domain in NetSuite and copied the CNAME alias and added it to the domain provider CNAME list. After adding it, I still see this error “ DNS is not configured correctly”. Is there anything I need to do apart from this to make domain live ?
