List > Relationships > Customer throws an error and we've tried to type "Customers", and open the List from a customer record and it all leads to the same error. Has anyone come across this?

If the default list of your customers contains a formula field that NetSuite doesn't know how to process, it won't let you see the results list. Choosing to view a list of records with a defaulted saved search that has errors will fail while loading. This becomes more apparent if you try running a search on your customer list and no error occurs in that scenario.

the problem is the user can't even get to the list of Customers to change the view or anything
as soon as it loads it throws the error

I've had this and have the solution. Someone else navigates to the customer list page, switch view to any working view, this changes the URL to include the new view id, copy THAT url and have the affected user open it

make sure you fix (or delete) the culprit view afterwards so no-one else gets trapped
