So, I'm garbage at SuiteAnalytics, which is frustrating since I feel like I've always been pretty decent with datasets and tables and such. I loathe it so much that I rarely use it because I am so frustrated by it, though it seems like potentially a great tool. Anyway, right now all I'm trying to build with it is a list of subsidiaries with a count of bank accounts per sub. I can get to here but no idea what fields (aka not seeing the right ones) to add to the datasets to be able to link them.

You need to have a common field in both datasets. So most likely the Subdsidisry internal ID would be best. Go back to your account data set and add the subsidiary internal ID to it. Then you can link the 2 together using that

That's the thing - I'm not seeing how to add the sub internal id on the account dataset.
m
In the account data set click on Subsidiaries, then drag Internal ID into the columns

Of course. Thank you. After all that, still didn't get to where I wanted (which really was to see which subs had zero bank accounts), but I did get it to technically work. 😛
m
Like they have bank accounts with $0 balance? Or they don't have a bank account created for that Sub at all?
d
The latter. I ended up exporting that workbook and then bouncing it against a list of all subs to get what I needed.
