Anyone know if there is more than 1 bundle that is needed to be installed for Smart Count? running into a slew of issues that seem like they shouldn't be too complicated to figure out and have been

We have been using it for about 4 months now. It took us about 5 months to get it up and working properly. You need a couple things in order to get Smart Counts to work. You need the Advanced Inventory Module and with that there is a few features that you have to enable for that(Advanced Item Location Configuration and Advanced Inventory Management. After that you need to install the Smart Count Foundation Bundle. After the Foundation Bundle you now can install the Smart Count SuiteApp. Once that is all done you have to either give yourself the role of a Smart Count Manager or Smart Count Operator. If you want to use a custom role there is a lot of permissions and scripts that are needed for custom roles. All of our roles are custom so I had to do some research and find out what those permissions were.

Okay that makes sense. So doing everything in the Admin role is maybe why I am seeing my issues? • cannot create any counts outside of tolerance to see how that is reflected • we are not seeing any transactions being created once inventory is counted (ie. inventory adjustments made to inventory that says we have 5 but now we counted 10) these are the two big things we are seeing

The admin role does not have all the script and user permissions for smart counts only has some. There is a list of about 30 user permissions and about 10 or so script permissions.

Okay let me give that a try. Should I try using the Smart Count Inventory Manager or Smart Count Inventory Counter?

The Manager you can do everything including approving counts the counter only allows you to count so I would use the manager for testing. We allow the employees that need to count access to everything so they can see if there is something off. The smart count review dashboard is very useful.
