Do anyone else have to deal with Customers having their own Customer Part Numbers? When we implemented Netsuite our Implementation partner installed the Supply Chain Management SuiteApp and we are using the Customer Part Number feature, but we just found out that there is a 2000 Number limit, which we apparently have hit. Which is causing some serious issues. Does anyone else know of another solution or have another solution to this issue, plus the limitation of not being able to have Item numbers with slashes in them, has caused us headaches.

Do you have the Advanced Inventory Module? You could use that to create kits. It would, of course, have other implications.

That will not work, we need the Customer Part Number to correlate with the item, so if the customer sends in 123 Netsuite know that is Item 321.

why not just use the Vendor Name/Code field on item record?

Not sure how that would work, first these are not vendors, and yes I know we can change the name of the field, 2nd, 1 item could have multiple Customer Partners for multiple Customers, for example ITem 321, could have 123 for one Customer, but a second customer could have 231.

Our developer customized this for us using a custom record with CPN, item and customer fields at the minimum.
