I want to update our Avalara bundle (posted in #CHS1YMVA9) But we are on 2471 and the new one is 296604. When updating the bundle it will push us to 296604, but I have a lot of scripts that are asking to be either "Add and Rename" or "Replace Existing Object". Is there recommendations on how to handle this? From what I can tell it is just trying to update the original scripts from bundle 2471. And then I also have the preference of "Do Not Update Deployments" or "Update Deployments". If I Add and Rename, will those old script still trigger?

How long has it been since you updated the bundle? We’ve been using NetSuite/Avalara for a couple of years and have not experienced any issues with the upgrade process. We’ve probably done a few Avalara bundle updates.

We are on 4.7.3 and doesn't show that it has been updated at all.

Yeah that’s a pretty old version. I would definitely test in a sandbox first, but it shouldn’t require you to change anything with deployments after upgrade.

Gotcha. I want to go the replace route too, just want to confirm that is normal practice. If I didn't replace, but add and rename what happens to those other scripts?

• Add and Rename – NetSuite appends a number to the bundle object’s name or script ID, to differentiate it from the preexisting custom object. The bundle object is added to account, and the preexisting object remains intact.
