Howdy, does anyone know why MRP is picking up Pending Approval Sales Orders as a source of Actual demand?  I would have thought that MRP would avoid these sales orders until they were in pending approval.  Thoughts?  Thanks!

Here?  I unchecked Use Unapproved sales orders and re-ran MRP but got the same results

Well, you'll have to wait until Sunday for it to update the values on your item records with how you have that configured

Well that is fascinating! I’ve never heard that before. No way to shortcut it and update them myself?

Note - if you're doing this in sandbox - you might have some challenges as well with timing updates on the calculation

But in production you should just be able to update the next time/day of the week field

I am unsure how much lead time NS needs for that to run, or how long the processing takes

I just know that utilizing it in the past has been... painful for testing purposes

Sounds good, I appreciate it!  MRP is a bit tangled up with Demand and Supply

I presume you have sufficient order history for these calculations to be reasonable, right?

we are only leveraging MRP for actual demand in this phase so most important for it not to pick up Pending Approval SO’s.  We will load demand plans for components next week for Purchasing etc
