I got a request to see a report of exchange rates between JPY and USD for the past 90 days. Am I confused, or is the only tool to show this the Currency Exchange Rates page? That page seems pretty minimal. I would have to enter the As Of date 90 times and export each time, if I'm not mistaken. Would love to hear others' thoughts on the matter.

I don't know why its like this, but if you go to create a new Currency Exchange Rate, there will be a "Search" link in the upper right, ONLY on the New Currency Exchange Rate page (/app/common/multicurrency/currencyrate.nl?whence=). Its NOT on the "New Saved Search" page, you can only get to it from the "New Currency Rate" page. Again, no idea why, but that's how you get there.

lolwow, sweet cheat code
oh, there's also the History link on the Currency Exchange Rates list. i think that's what i want.

I don't believe its exportable though

ohh, you're right
that's fine. saved search is exactly what i was looking for. thanks

though annoyingly, they don't have the ISO codes in that search, just internal IDs. and no way to link to get the ISO codes. So you have to xlookup everything off a list of the currency codes. They had a currency rates search in Analytics workbooks briefly that had all that, but they removed it for some reason and have never added it back.

it's really weird - I have a saved Analytics dataset from before the purge, and it still works. But I can't create a new one

It looks like you can still create one by directly accessing the URL.

You rock @michoel! I've been trying to get back to that forever. It's good it's still there, but super annoying that it's hidden. Probably some bug they never bothered to fix.

That or they had an issue with something it was doing and rather than fix the issue - they just hid the page so people stop triggering the issue
