Anyone ever seen a business where they always know their landed cost at the time of Purchase Order being placed? Client is insisting they do without fail, but I'm questioning it based on what I've seen clients struggle with landed cost in the past.

I haven't seen it, but if they do, you think you can put that as expense under the expense Tab by creating the category?

One of my clients worked with external freight company who provided client landed cost estimates almost rounded to tenths. I haven't seen it matched to cent or penny in so far.

Yes I have seen this before
We allowed them to enter the landed costs into custom fields on the purchase order
When the item receipt gets created we scripted the values to apply them on the item receipt as actual landed costs
