looks like i have another question to spring off everyone. is there a way to discount an item at the item level to apply to ALL customers. i would want to set the item to show its regular price and then have a the discount denoted as 100% and then reflect that they wont be paying for the item.

SuitePromotions + auto-apply promotions, I think
j
i managed to get this configured but its not applying to any customers. how do i update all customers to allow promotions?
l
1. Did you enable those separate features? 2. Did you create an Item Promotion record where THIS PROMOTION CAN BE AUTOMATICALLY APPLIED is checked, COUPON CODE TYPE is Multiple Uses (I assume it's not one-time promo), and AUDIENCE subtab is Everyone (for all customers)? 3. When you're creating an SO, the Automatically Apply Promotions checkbox under the Promotions subtab must be automatically checked and must trigger the automatic adding of the discount regardless of the customer after selecting the item.

1. yes i enabled the 3 promotion features that were there. but if there are more than the 3 maybe i missed somethin. 2. yes to all of that. 3. this is where im breaking things i think. i cant get that checkbox to stay automatically clicked. i have to click that box every time.
its worth noting that our invoices are generated through subscriptions in suite billing. when invoices are generated they are generated in suite billing and the subscription is read and put in an invoice.

Can't you just add this into a pricing list within the items being discounted? not sure how many items you are talking about...
