Hello, ARM question - any reason why the revenue rec rule on an item is not being used when creating rev arrangements for the source txn? For example, the item has an ‘Actual Dates’ rev rec rule, however, when the arrangement is created, a ‘Default One-Time Direct Posting’ is being used….

Are you using a Posting Discount? There are certain things that will cause ARM to ignore the date setting and switch to Default One-Time Direct Posting. Using Posting Discounts is the one I can remember. There might be others...

Yeah, I just noticed that they’re using discounts 😑

Do they truly need posting discounts? I've used non-posting discounts and ARM works fine with those.

@_ludlow - @RJMNS is correct, you cannot have POSTING discounts with ARM, they entire order’s revenue gets posted immediately regardless of the rule.
