Can you have department and class on the chart of account? How do you control what account displays which department/class based on the account in G/L Impact

department/class come from the Transaction lines.

The whole point behind virtual segmentation is that it's not included in your COA - and your COA is smaller as a result

Yes I am talking about the one’s that comes from header Account receivable and account payable

are you talking about limiting the department and class selection in the line level? Ex. if I choose Accounts payable, the line level department and class selections should be limited?

The line level comes from the item record, I want freight account to go to different class and department then the header ( account payable or account receivable)

@Suitestallion it doesn't sound like native functionality. You could have a WF or Script to update the freight line.
