Anyone ever add a custom segment to the Budget page? I doesn't appear that you can.

there's steps for it - but you are relatively limited in how you can utilize it.

What do you mean by Budget page? Budget creation? From what I remember, you need to check the Budget Import box under the Other Record Types sublist of the custom segment.

Yes this is possible and yes there are steps in a suppot article in SA. Take note though that you cannot choose the custom segment as a Column in the Budget vs Actual report as of now. It's an annoying restriction..

I was able to add a custom segment to a column in my B vs A report...however, it looks like it's only pulling in header-level and not line-level data

Sorry I reread what I wrote. I meant Column Filter(at the bottom) not column data..

@blue I actually learned of a workaround for this! You need to put the custom segment filter twice - once through the Budget and once through the Financial sections in the "Add Fields" box

Hi Cara yes we actually did the exact thing as well :) however the client was still unsatisfied with th workaround because it was abit strange that they had to pick the same segments in two fields. It works for me but yeah NS could have just added it as a filter. Thanks for sharing!
