01/21/2021, 4:36 PMSome reports will have this option in the 'Column' filter drop down at the bottom of the report. In there, if you see 'Period' or 'Accounting Period' in there, select that and you'll put the periods across the top of the report. P&L's definitely have this option.

01/21/2021, 4:38 PMFor other reports that don't have this, you can sometimes customize the report, add the 'Amount' field as a column and choose the 'Alternate Period Range Type' drop down to 'relative to report date' and you can therefore choose a prior period, etc... but this option isn't super flexible... but sometimes it gets you what you need.

02/02/2021, 10:44 PMAgreed with @Anthony Dixon. When you want to look further for month columns and/or general report flexibility (i.e. rolling 12 month balance sheet), I pull the data into Power BI with Satori Reporting (www.satorireporting.com)
