Are you sure you want to do that? Opportunities, for example, do not have a G/L impact

Why did you get an ERP software like Netsuite then? You should've just gotten a vanilla accounting software if you just want GL impacts.

i think you missunderstood my question. i didnt mean all transactions that dont have gl impact i said i dont wanna allow anyone to receive a PO at 0 dollars. so basically i want to prevent 0 gl impact item receipts cause there is no reason for anyone to receive something at 0 cost.

why did a 0-rated PO get created in the first place?

we bought 40 units but the vendor gave us 5 units for free

Wouldn't you just modify the PO to be for 45 units and adjust the unit price?
