Hey Accounting gurus...i know a credit memo hits Sales and A\R by default (whatever accounts they came out of on the invoice), but is it possible to have credits post to a specific account?

Are you trying to have the CR side of a credit memo hit a different account or are you asking if a credit memo can hit different DR and CR accounts?

@_ludlow Thanks for the reply, I often create non-inventory items for a specific account and credit those as you were saying, but I have a client that requested to put the actual styles on the credit, but have it go back to different accounts than the default on the item. I didn't see any option like that
