Any idea why our Warn Only warnings are not appearing on sales orders? I am testing in Sandbox and there is no warning when I enter an SO where the customer's limit has been reached. We do include unbilled transactions.
c
Under Setup> Accounting > Accounting Preferences do you have the Customer Credit Limit Handling set to "Warn Only"? And is the Customer Credit Limit Includes Orders box checked?
j
Yes to both.
k
Have you turned off popoups for the website?
Every n ow and then I see someone has done that - and it then results in not getting notifications they should.
c
Is "Hold" set to "On" on the customer record on the financial tab?
j
They were blocked, but when I unblocked, it's still not showing.
No, ours are on Auto.
c
I just tested in SB having Hold set to Auto and same thing is happening to me. If I change Hold to "On" I do get the Warning Message.
j
Okay, well that's inconvenient! Oh well. Looks like they want to use Ignore, anyway.
k
That's not really the way it should work.
on Auto - it should mark them on hold if they have exceeded their limit
granted - that might not happen until after the record is saved.
if it involves the combination of multiple transactions.
c
It seems like the Auto isn't working. Didn't work for me when Hold was set to auto
weird
j
Possible defect?
k
Seems like it.
c
Could be... we've already opened multiple cases for possible defects ever since 2020.2

Thanks, all!
