07/14/2020, 12:24 PMcan anybody explain to me why there is no cost when i invoice a dropship order? I'm assuming that it's because I am not adding inventory numbers to the invoice, but shouldn't netsuite be smart enough to use the cost of the associated purchase order?

07/14/2020, 1:23 PMYour estimated costs are just that - an estimate. Normally it's based on average cost, last purchase price, or item defined cost. If the item never hit inventory - then it wouldn't impact average cost of the item. Your GL will still be correct because you hit the expense account on the Vendor Bill for the correct amount.
