hi all! anyone know of an easy way to update `Location` on a journal entry created from an amortization schedule? when you drill in to edit mode, the `Location` field is grayed out.

yeah, FAM is not forgiving of any changes to location after Asset Proposal

FAM is plenty forgiving- you just do an asset transfer.

it's the Amortization process which I can't find a good reason to use because of how unforgiving it is that does this to you

I'd rather use FAM for it instead of Amortization schedules

is FAM an additional module that needs to be paid for?

I am pretty bummed with not being able to change department allocation of amortization schedule journals

What is then the best way to deal with old amortization schedules that needs to be reallocated to say a different dep or account?
