Has anyone tried to create a search that shows the COGS tied to a Kit? I understand that NS records the COGS at the component level but Im trying to somehow to build a saved search (formula maybe) that will sum the COGS of the component and get them to show under the Kit in the search

What is the purpose of this search? What do you see on the Standard Reports for COGS for these kits/components?

I think you will see a single impact. Anyway in a search you have the COGS line (true/false) filter you can use for get the COGS from a transaction or from all transactions including a specific item
