is there any flag in the system to completely identify all JE's generated from allocation, amort or revrec schedules?

we filter on system notes / type = create, then pick up the System notes / context field in the results. When it returns "Bulk processing", it's a system generated journal. Not foolproof though from memory.

In a saved search, there are fields (and therefore criteria) you can set called "is allocation"... or "is amortization/revenue recognition".

@Anthony Dixon - good suggestion, let me try it out, but i am afraid it will return the actual schedules wehreas we're looking for the actual JE's created as a result

if it's a transaction search, it'll show the actual JE's
