Hi, is there a way to set the rev rec start/end dates on component item of a kit in ARM? Ex. Enter start date for parent item of kit as 1/1/2019 and end = 1/1/2020. The dates only flow to the parent item on the revenue arrangement, and the component items have blank rev rec start/end date fields. I tried revenue field mapping and it didn't work, is scripting the only option?

@they are actually set systematically like that AFAIK, mapping is not an issue. Do you have allocations set?

hmm I have tested in a couple environment since I also thought they set on the date on the component level, but it has only been the parent too this point. When you say allocation set, are you referring to allocation type?

there are items in the kit - they should have an allocation adding up to 100%

had the same issue at my company and my solution was to use items group instead of kit

Hmm even with setting allocation groups still the date only gets pushed to the parent item of the kit. No scripts/workflows running on your side?
