10/09/2019, 3:52 PMI do know that even with allow non GL edits - NS won't let me edit a statistical journal, even though I don't change anything with a posting impact on the journal, so I'm guessing the same thing would happen with your custom GL impacted transactions

10/09/2019, 3:57 PMYeah I did and as long as I enabled the Run in Closed Periods date, the custom GL script worked and I was able to update a Non-GL impacting field on the transaction with the period being closed
