@Katelyn Martin - you can enable mandatory location in Accounting Preferences (Setup - Accounting - Accounting Preference on General tab under Company. it will be mandatory for ALL transactions. to remove class and department fields go to Setup - Company - Enable Features and on Company tab under classifications uncheck Departments and Classes
