Would you be able to screen shot the state you had to do so? I tried the 'account' field and couldn't find an 'adjustment account' field to edit, so maybe I am not selecting the correct one?

No, Account is correct. TBH I just use the standard default options. On Create, Trigger on Entry, etc

Have you checked if the account you selected is available in the UI?

Lol guess it is user error on my part. The accounts are show only the account name, but I do have access through the UI\
