So what's the easiest way to adjust cost for items that shows on the general ledger? Our business does a lot of consignments and accepts offers on them and in the past we would always adjust our cost so our sales team margins are right and the cogs is right. We found out about using a custom cost estimate type on the sales order but unfortunately that doesn't impact the GL. We don't want to have our sales team to have to do an inventory adjustment everytime they want to sell a consignment at a negotiated lower price but is this the only way?
