Hi all! We are implementing NetSuite and we will do Revenue Recognition in NS in future. Right now we do it in our old system. The question is, do you know if there is any way to import our current Revenue Arrangements and Plans to NS? We hope that we could move all AR and RevRec related stuff at once to NS, but I haven't found a solution for moving the running RevRec. Thanks for any ideas!

Only way I've seen to 'import' Revenue Plans is to create a JE DR Deferred Revenue (one line) and CR Revenue (unique lines per customer/plan), with each of the credit lines specifying the rev rec rule and start/end dates. This will trigger creation of a Revenue Arrangement from the JE, which then results in revenue plans for each line. I've seen technical issues if there are too many lines so maybe keep it under 500 lines per JE and you should be good. Hope it works!
