[grails/grails-core] New comment by jameskleeh on issue #11018: grailsw -version lists Groovy v2.4.7, expected 2.4.15 (assigned to ilopmar) @dlehammer Yes, the wrapper delegates all functionality to the real CLI so this change affects both.

Hello all, can anyone tell me if NetSuite handles origin-based vs destination-based states differently when calculating sales tax? We’re based in Ohio and should be charging a flat 6.25% “use tax” on orders shipped to Illinois but NetSuite is calculating the base state rate plus any local/county/district rates.

I'm not sure how the new SuiteTax engine handles that but old school NS does not do this level of tax triangulation well. My former clients and current employer all levered Avalara, AvaTax. It's the best in class with very limited maintenance needed. They even file your taxes for you.

SuiteTax is just as limited
I work on it everyday

I'm disappointed to hear that but not surprised.

The premise is a preference to use a third party product and let the third party engine does the nexus determination...the new native engine they released still follows the same old structure for nexus...but everything else is much better
