Is possible at all to create a NS report that generates Income statements in different tabs in excel. Problem is multiple subsidiaries, and creating an income statement for each one is a long process. Looking for efficient way to produce these. Note that we have tried a few mods to the report to get all the subs into one report, but they don't appear in their 'functional' currency. The individual subsidiary income statements are perfect, just running and exporting each takes forever.

if they allowed web query for financial statements then you could have done that in Excel. Try looking into celigo's excel plugin

doesn't solve the original question but one way to avoid the process taking forever each time is to schedule an income statement report customized to each subsidiary to be e-mailed (attached as Excel file) each day/week/whenever you want to view them. Then the user just has to open 3 e-mailed files and combine them w/o waiting for processing and downloading time.
