Well, maybe automate isn't the right word. The way it's setup now is a separate SO transaction form with a separate PDF form tied to it. So our users have to edit the SO, change the Custom Form to the CI version and save it. Then they can print it. Then go back to edit the SO and change the Custom Form back to the original one. Again, a kludge.

OK. The easiest way is to use a script to add a new button onto the standard SO form, simply allowing you to print the CI PDF directly without having to change the form. All the script needs to do, is pretty much ‘Print this Sales Order, using Form ID = XXX’

Seems too easy. Unfortunately I'm not a developer and don't have one on staff. But I'm keeping a list of things like this in hopes to get budget for a contractor to do this work.
