hey team! I'm trying to understand when a PO is pending fulfillment, and when it's pending receipt. is there any indication I can expect?

PO is pending receipt when we placed the order to Vendor but the item hasn't arrived in the warehouse yet.. Pending fulfillment comes in the Vendor Return Authorisation process before we pick/pack/ship the product back to Vendor

Maybe you’re trying for a drop shipment wherein we first raise create the SO for the Customer and immediately place the purchase order to Vendor. Dropshipping is an order fulfillment method that does not require a business to keep products in stock. Instead, the store sells the product and passes on the sales order to a third-party supplier, who then ships the order to the customer.

DropShip PO will have a "Mark Shipped" button which will generate an Item Fulfillment (to the end customer). Special Order PO will have a "Receive" button because that PO process is to be received at your location first.
