I am looking to edit employees record with update of their supervisor, but when I am entering into the supervisor dropdown, I can see that not all employees are appearing and I can’t select the supervisor I wish.
We are using the Standard supervisor field.
I also try to update the field by import csv and api, but I am getting error “Invalid supervisor reference key”
Do I need to mark employee as eligible to be supervisor? I couldn’t find any place for that

05/03/2023, 1:45 PMIs that employee inactive? Are the employee and supervisor assigned to different subsidiaries? Invalid reference key means there's some sort of issue with selecting the employee in that field (and the fact that it's not in the dropdown kinda says the same thing). Take a deep dive on the employee record of the supervisor and supervisee and look carefully for something that might be causing an issue.

05/03/2023, 2:34 PMOK i found a workaround, first i set the existing supervisor field to be null and saved, afterwards i updated with the new supervisor and it works. sounds strange but this is the solution that works for me. thanks
