Hi, we currently have an automated email setup for Sales order received. I'm trying to create a new workflow that sends an additional email when a sales order is created/received and has a certain product on it. Can you only send 1 email based on sales order created? I've tried multiple workflow scenarios but the 2nd email never gets sent out. Thank you for any advice, suggestions.

Yes you can send as many emails as you like via WF
Us a saved search criteria to send the email for the so with certain items

Thank you for your reply. The saved search works on for a scheduled email but I want it for an event based. I believe the first email is triggering the on create event, hence making the next email unable to send but don't know how to resolve it.

What are you using as the criteria for you second email? A saved search condition?

No, it's condition based: Sales Order : Item = itemid ie. Sale Order : Item = 1234

the sales order join you are referring to is NOT the current sales order workflow is working on
Not sure what that Sales Order record is, but it's not what you think it is
I would setup a saved search as your criteria, it will be much easier and work better

saved search option would be simpler - just use the criteria as the trigger
