is anyone familiar with "catch weight" in Netsuite? basically it's changing the Unit of measure on inventory.

skittleskit: Catch Weight is not supported in NetSuite. We built it in Dynamics AX and were looking at building in NetSuite. The newest release of WMS makes it a little more friendly to build and makes the creation of a catch weight process possible. Are you using it in the food industry?

We are not, we are in Metal industry. We are creating some scripting to work around currently, hopefully the new release would help.

Let me clarify: The new release does not include catch weight. It does have the ability to create new RF flows, which we were going to use this to create a custom catch weight piece. It did not seem like NetSuite was going to pursue catch weight in the immediate future(bummer). Would love to set up a call with you and see what you have envisioned for your catch weight piece and how maybe we could help. This is something that definitely interests us since we already built catch weight in a couple of other systems.
