hey all. my accountant had this question. just wondering if this is something normal If I pull out a trial balance including only 2017 dates, it does not show the cumulative balances, just those generated during the period, but the balance GL accounts should show the cumulative balance (note the P&L GL accounts should only show the fiscal year balance)
