It's not fun, but I've got the process down to a few netsuite searches, a google sheet, and a corresponding inv worksheet upload. Our physical product shipments are at a point where we don't want to justify the additional cost of the assembly module in Netsuite, so, this manual workaround is just a fact of life for us.
