Maybe separate into two separate IV Adjs? Have the removal transaction dated yesterday (or one day before your desired transaction date) and then date the transaction with the proper cost today and/or one day after the removal transaction. Same concept, but slightly different application. Beyond that, I'm not sure what to tell you.
