sounds like you are using multiple calendars

I checked Multiple Calendars is not Enabled

which record are you trying to create

can manually select that date/posting period if you try to create the record through the UI? That'll tell you if it's a mapping issue or a settings issue.

Is the subsidiary active? you might get that if not.
