I am trying a new costing method "Lot Number" for our lot numbered items. So If receive 3 lot numbers(10 qty each) as below a. Lot_20 at $20 b. Lot_30 at $20 c. Lot_40 at $40 The system averages out the cost at $30. When I ship out Lot_40 it still assigns cost as $30, behaving exactly like average costing. How can we get different cost for different lot numbers?

It should assign it $40, if you have the cost set to lot number. NetSuite uses average cost at first, then the costing engine updates it later.

You need to wait for the costing engine to run.
