Anyone ever seen quantity break pricing on service hours? Client charges a flat rate for up to the 1st hour, and then after that charges a different rate in 15 minute increments. Unfortunately - there's no quantity break pricing on service items that I can find. We're also limited to using service items as we are charging time from a case/project. Any suggestions for handling?
I'm thinking we'll have to force the service item on the time entry and then cut the time into two entries after it's been submitted. i.e. "Service Item is placeholder" - change item to "1st hour" then change quantity to 1. Subtract quantity from placeholder entry time and change to "2nd hour" item
However - if someone has a better idea for handling it, I'm open to suggestions.
