We have items that are already discontinued. We don't have inventory on hand anymore. But they are still included in the open transactions such as unbilled SOs. Will there be a problem if we inactivate them and process them for billing or CM later on? In my experience, there will be a warning message that the transaction includes an inactive item but will still be able to create and save the transaction. Just wanna make sure that there is no exception to this.

We havent had any issues with doing it that way so far. My product team tends to inactivate items sometimes before we have even finished shipping the open orders. We are still able to ship and bill out though.
