Absolutely banging my ahead against the wall with what I believe is a permissions issue: one of our employees is unable to process payment using payment card tokens using a specific role whereas I, using that same role, am able to process payments with payment card tokens no sweat: What is the permissions level I need to enable for this user? Payment Card Tokens? Can it be that easy?
Also, I’m an administrator and my user does not have any special global permissions.

shot in the dark here, but sounds like a similar issue i had recently. The payment process wouldn't happened be tied to a custom workflow that pushes out email notifications?

the reason i ask, is Netsuite recently introducted a 'Vicarious Emails' in the Setup Permissions. A user now needs that permission to trigger emails from an address other than theirs
the reason it was working as me is because I was logged in as the Netsuite Admin account, so I was sending as myself still and didnt need the permission, but it broke the workflow for everyone else
