I cant edit the description field, i have tried many things, No workflow is enabled on the record. Rich text editing is disabled. But whenever i hit edit and try to change the description field, and i hit save. The old texts gets shown. How do i fix this?

Maybe there is a script that sets the value on beforeSubmit or afterSubmit?

I tried checking system information but i cant see any script that is being triggered

If its a custom field, go to Customization and item fields and see if there is any default value or sourcing that is setting default text. @c c
