is pointing to an IP address rather that

<http://ourdomain.com.hosting.netsuite.com|ourdomain.com.hosting.netsuite.com>

Who are you using for DNS Management?

Yep it's godaddy. Other dns providers you wouldn't have an issue with.

any idea what we are supposed to do?

CSC is ours

Just get away from godaddy transfer your domain to another provider like Google or cloudflare

i cant do that. we have too many domains in godaddy and we want to keep everything in one place

@karlenigma we also don’t have the option to use a different provider. Our lil company was was acquired by a huge one and all domains “must” be set up in CSC (we are the only team using NS tho).

I know godaddy don't allow using of cnames against a root domain. I suppose you could forward to another dns provider that has a static ip and then use the NetSuite cname there. But you would just be duplicating what could be done at the one provider. Quite annoying
